Requirements:
- Scientific degree (Ph.D., CSc.) in archaeology and/or geology.
- Professional experience in geoarchaeology, geosciences, soil sciences, and related disciplines. Experience with geoarchaeological research, including analysis of soil and sediment samples from archaeological contexts, and experience with micromorphological analysis of soils/sediments from archaeological contexts.
- Publication track record in peer-reviewed international scientific journals on geoarchaeology and micromorphology.
- Experience in designing, organizing, and implementing domestic and international research projects, involvement in international research teams, and an established network of international contacts with the potential to participate in new projects.
- Preparedness to join a newly formed research team and collaborate with experts from various institutions. Ability to work systematically and creatively, both independently and within a team.
- Active knowledge of English (both spoken and written).
- In addition to theoretical basic research, the position also includes participation in field, organizational, editorial, and popularization activities of the institute.
